         Brian Routh

Theatrical innovator Brian Routh remains steadfastly eclectic by BRIAN ROUTH, one half of the groundbreaking twosome known as the 'The Kipper Kids,' has stood solidly at the vanguard of the modern experimental theater world since the glory days of that amorphous art form's unsettling emergence in the early 1970s. From his unique perspective both as a revered performer and as a teacher of avant-garde theatrical methods--often termed "performance art," a label Routh finds misleading and pejorative--this deceptively soft-spoken Englishman has observed some awfully strange things

         Cronus

Cronus....the journey began at the age of 12 when I got my hands on a single track tape deck recorder. Sounds had a new perspective when I was able to record them, play them back and isolate them. A healthy dose of 70`s analog disco, kraut rock, classical and progressive-acid rock got me failure with the existence of non commercial music-forward thinking music as its coined. by age 15 id become consumed by the early 90`s techno, electro and early Florida breaks-the music, culture and way of living it was perfect. but time brings change and the scene died-besides the small techhouse and break beat scenes that we have today in Florida which depending on where you live may be nothing at all. the electronic music never stopped even when the cities clubs stopped to a stand still-my music is born from many good friends and many good nights or days at private get together hearing autechre, jedi knights early ghettotech, noise installations, Florida electro (where it all started) and the like-riverside is an area in Jax Florida that continues to thrive artistically to this day. in 2001 I decided playing records was not enough and set out on a long road of experimentation-its been 6 years now and several hundreds of tracks later that I've decided
now is the time to share my sound. music is life-

        Danadax

After making the two DANADAX EPs on the Intelligent Machinery Productions netlabel (http://www.intelligentmachinery.com; EPs: "Trips Into Places Unknown" and "Consciousness in Shifts of Decay"), DANADAX became a one member project for about one year. Then, a two-member version of DANADAX was tried again, but not much ever came from it. Eventually, I, Curtis, was forced to realize DANADAX was just going to be consisted of myself. After planning so many different tracks for the first LP (I kept changing my ideas and my mind), I eventually got worn out of creating new ideas for the first album (whenever I got a new idea, I discarded the old idea). This left me with a bunch of various tracks with not one central, tied, connected theme. So, I decided to throw some of these tracks together and call them "DAXSCAPES I" which basically alludes to the many different and varying soundscapes (mostly consisting of noise and dark ambient) made by my DANADAX project. I have made enough of these tracks to fill up several albums, so expect a "DAXSCAPES II" in the future. I started my first idea for an LP of my DANADAX material way back in 2003, and it is 2007 now, so that's 4 years of material sitting on my hard drive. I think it's about time to share some of these tracks. I hope you enjoy. Remember, there will be a "DAXSCAPES II."

Dizruptre is a local native of Florida and is a musical output of 14 years of electronic brainwashing on behalf of the underground scene. Eleven years of which being a dj made him decide to start doing something more that gave him more control over the sound. Now six years after learning to shape his sound into tracks he's decided to share his material with the experimental music scene. Abstract beats, melodic sounds, and complex textures are prominent throughout his work

         Dizzonanz Domestic

This project has no goals other than constant experimentation. Above all else I don't want my project to repeat itself or become redundant. It remains primarily a dark ambient project but even within that genre I do not wish to become bland or the same from album to album and am by no means restricting myself solely to that genre.

Methods:
I operate solely on several freeware programs (talk about being limited). I use a lot of naturally occurring sounds (birds, wind, rain) as well as many industrial sounds (lathes, trains, engines) and the software synths and drum machines available to me.

        dreDDup

Early history:

DreDDup were formed in June 1997 in the small city of Novi Sad after guitarist Mihajlo left his former band Mind Control to join Robert (vocals). After six months of rehearsing, the band recorded and released their demo, Beyond the Dark Portal. Its title was taken from a line in the rpg game " Warcraft". During the late 1990s dreDDup were part of what was known as the darkwave/techno influenced band but were always known as an industrial band.

Music

Their music is characterised by dark, truthful lyrics and an obsessive attention to atmospheric detail. Early demos were industrial noise in a traditional sense, though much faster than most. However, their debut demo album R U Digital!? Saw the addition of violins, keyboards, female back vocals and live instruments in the first row. Much more demos and EPs were recorded. DreDDup experiments with weird sounds and analog noise samples. R U Digital!? Built on that foundation, utilising distortion as well as dark atmosphere and, unusually, back choirs on several tracks. That album saw the abandonment of rough screaming vocals and added a more depressing feel to the songs. "3010" EP continued in that direction. DreDDup made many soundtracks for films and some weird theatre music for the plays.

Works:

Although primarily a musical group, dreDDup has sometimes worked in other media. In their early years, produced several works of video art. It was not until 2004's MR Borndead's Feast that dreDDup managed to win round the bulk of their former fans. More innovative than R U Digital!?, yet retaining all the key elements of the early era, Mr Borndead's Feast was slightly darker, although a long way off the intense darkness of the first two demos. Vocals was now distorted in other ways and much more in the feeling of the singed subject. 2004's showed a band continuing to expand and refine their sound and purpose. A substantial increase in live performances - once an unheard of rarity - has lead to much greater recognition by a new generation of fans. In collaboration with
Former band members and Rebeka Vajs, Mihajlo recorded CutNPaste a industrial/grind/noise project.

In 2005, the band's label, MoocSound Records , re-released their Mr Borndead's Feast album in digipak format.. 91 Design made polymorph graphics especially for their re-release. It showed a young Asian woman corrupted by digital technology and roots. The band's next release came in February 2007, when they released the fancifully-titled "Works 1996-2007" a fully-fledged box set featuring one disc and twenty four tracks from all of dreDDup's eras. Containing some rare material recorded in late 1996. Never released in public.

Members:

dreDDup’s history started in 1996 when Mihajlo founded the band Mind Control. After that, in 1997 he formed the very first dreDDup. It is believed that in the first dreDDup the members were only Mihajlo and Robert. Later, Rose joined the band as singer and Aca as percussionist . In the first period dreDDup were only four members. In the late ‘90s, those 4 full time members were Mihajlo, Robert, Tjyana and Aca. From time to time, some other persons, such as Merima, female singer from the UMT group replaced Tiyana. Simbe replaced Robert on drums but soon left the group. New members joined the band and some left the group. During the early 2002 Dyogen joined the band on bass and recorded some songs on R U Digital!? . DJ Carolina and MC
Sanya joined the band. Soon Prosic and Kenji joined the band and Prosic became drug addict. Prosic left the band and was replaced by Dragan. Seengia guested on keyboards in several occasions. DJ Carolin, MC Sanya and Dragan left the band. It was
Now a completely new set of people, including Michael, the only one of the original dreDDup set. Soon new members joined and Kenji left the group. DreDDup toured the SCG in 2006, playing shows all over the country. Changing their music to industrial/hardcore with noise influences, band spent the winter of 2006/2007 writing material for new studio album Future Porn Machine. Sonn after the album was finished they were contacted by "Insurrection Records", who were prepared it publish their
New LP. Also, dreDDup made some Nine Inch Nails remixes and sign for their contest. It was very odd that Nine Inch Nails actually liked their remix (of some 600 contestants) and decided to publish it in 8 track CD called "Open Source Remixes" which will be published soon.

         Edge Of October

Edge Of October has become my favorite outlet for the darker side of my personality. I am in a constant battle with depression,
and music helps me to turn desperation into inspiration. These songs are a reflection of how I have felt throughout various stages
of this mental illness, like a soundtrack for suffering. Some other influences of mine are horror movies, and the book "house of leaves", by Mark Z. Danielewski.

      Haz-Mat

In the U.K. 2003 / 2004, an alter ego came into being, named only as Sarafs, along with the project Haz-Mat.

Emerging from a response for a need to create, Haz-Mat was based on an interest in many occult writings, the hidden, negative, darker sides of the individual human psyche, a viewpoint of  the human collective as a poison on  planet earth, and inspiration drawn from various artists and acts, of the industrial, noise, and dark ambient  scenes.

Two demo’s, “Emptiness Engulfs” and “Flammable”, were created between 2004-2005, but as of yet, remain unreleased. The concept for ”Emptiness Engulfs” centres on mental suicide and madness, from an individual viewpoint. The idea for  ”Flammable” arose from occult associations with the astrological sign of Aries, and were created as homage to its principles.

During 2005-2008, a small amount of tracks were completed (which will appear on the first album “Planetary Collapse Industries”), one of which was created specifically for the “Pseudomonarchia Daemonium"  series of CD-R’’s, released  by Belgium label Bone Structure..The CD-R is  almost 20 minutes of  ritual ambience/black industrial sound structures dedicated to the demon Amduscias.

One of the many artists who contributed to the “Pseudomonarchia Daemonium" series was Ghoul Detail (who coincidently, lived in the locale of Sarafs), would later collaborate with Haz-Mat for the “Corroded Horizon Dawning” release on saraf’s self release label Blast Periphery. This three track CD-R contains 30 minutes of black industrial drones, revolving around the concept of mass insanity and mental illness.

      inSOMAnic

inSOMAnic is an ambient/experimental project that creates dark, ominous soundscapes and hypnotic, echoing drones that have no percussion. Heavily processed sounds and sinister, detuned, distorted samples create a crawling, sludgy, wall of sound that sounds like background music for someone's worst nightmare. inSOMAnic's sound is obtained by using treated synths, treated guitars, field recordings, theatrical samples, sounds of nature, and various "found sounds". The music is long and droning, but multi-textured and ever-changing. The overall tone is usually desolate and eerie, where it sounds like evil is slowly dripping out of your speakers. Subliminal voices and orgies of synchronized sound are splashed together for a truly hypnotic and constantly unraveling feel that is perfect for clicking off the lights and drifting away. The main composer/performer is Kevin Daigrepont, who is also the front man of industrial metal act Pleasures Of ZerO, and also makes up 1/2 of abstract ambient act Animal Number 8. inSOMAnic has 2 CD-R releases that have yet to be printed up, the first full length, "Sea Of Storms" was recorded in 2006, followed by another full length, "Exit Lazarus" which was recorded in 2007. The third album will be the 'Melting Skeletons" EP, which will be completed in early 2008. Another release is planned for late 2008/early 2009 that will feature unreleased works from 2003-2005, remixes, and live versions.

          Insomnia Mind Collapse

BIO...
i.m.c has mutated into the bigger of my 2 bands/projects, it has eclipsed reality collapsed in almost every way,it gets more plays, has more friends/fans and gets more attention in general than reality collapsed, not to say reality collapsed is doing poorly because its not, but i.m.c far surpassed any level i thought it would in the beggining, so even though reality collapsed is my baby and will remain so, i.m.c is my main project now, funny how things change, originally insomnia mind collapse was going to be a song for a reality collapsed album, then i decided to make it an album for reality collapsed, then i decided to make it the name of a project me and a few other people were going to collaborate on, then i decided to make it an album again and was just going to focus solely on reality collapsed, then i decided yet again to keep it as a band but to make it remixes and rehashes of reality collapsed tracks, now i have come to yet another crossroads and im positive its the last (and it is for sure because i.m.c has actually grown past reality collapsed;) (THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY, DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS), anyways, as i said before, i.m.c sucks, reality collapsed sucks, dont listen to this shite, goodday and god bless.... Colors fading, walls are bright Greyness now encroaches Enter dimity, walk the night Death at last approaches r.i.p ss

         LaVey

Lavey was birthed by marc flowers in the winter of 1998. this was only a thought, until 2001, when Mr.. flowers bought a few pieces of musical equipment, a mixer, and a computer. and then, "I just started composing these really weird yet spooky instrumentals". he says, reflecting on the beginning. after a few years of practice, marc finally decided to write a record purely consisting of instrumentals. when asked why he didn't start writing lyrically oriented material, his answer was, " I want to make the listeners use their imaginations, create your own motion picture in your mind". after finishing his first full-length album, "Hypocritical Vol.1: Demon Hellfire Orchestra", he started playing it for people where ever he went. "people just loved what I was doing! I mean, everyone that heard it wanted more! I was quite surprised!" he says. In 2004, after the positive responses and reviews, marc set out to make the follow-up to his first record, "vol.2:empty and alone". which sounded better than the first record by a long shot. and yet again, got very positive feedback! shortly after the beginning of 2007, marc had toyed with the idea of writing a lyrical record. "I had at-least 50 sheets of lyrics that I had written, but didn't think them good enough to actually put too music". and, after a few months of bad recordings, marc emerged with a track called, "they". which got extremely positive reviews right here, on his my space page. marc is currently at work on his third record, "countless hours", "they" being the first track on the disc. "I hope that people like the new record. I am writing the whole thing on a lap-top computer, and it's going damned well!" marc has also gotten coverage in central Florida on a radio show called, "the spooks show". and is in the process of getting some small shows organized around Florida after the record is complete. "for what I have planned, these shows are gonna be a smack in the face with a sledgehammer!"

      Michael Carrier  aka  Hello

I am a producer from Fargo, ND. I primarily make many types of noise ("noise music"). Concrete/tape music, experimental electronica, IDM(-ish), ambient, drones, some hip hop and reggae, acoustic ambient lounge... Techniques I use include prepared instruments, tape manipulation, digital sequencing, circuit bending, et cetera...
More recently I've taken to making breakcore/dnb/brokebeat, and since I started listening to some of the turntablists on Ninja Tune (record co.), I've been using scratches and cuts more and more and have started to make some "pure" turntablism (where ALL tracks are run through the turntables no matter how much or how little is used).
I'm sure that as I keep stumbling upon these many subgenres, my style will change. I've found that, unlike most people, I move through "phases" very fast. I often get stuck in a phase for a while (ie. emotional phases, musical phases), but then I just move on. As far as music, I doubt I will ever decide on just one style. I take elements and techniques from all the experimental sub-genres to make my tracks.

Rose Red is a side project of Holly from TURMOIL. The music ranges from ambient to dark ambient to experimental music. For me this is an outlet for all my frustrations in life and the world in general. I use experimental recording techniques in order to capture the dark feelings I hold deep inside.

SADOLUST HAS ALWAYS BEEN SHUNNED AND DESPISED BY OTHER BLACK METAL BANDS AND FORBID TO PLAY AT THE LIVE CLUBS IN ATHENS GREECE BECAUSE OF THE EXTREMITY OF THE MUSIC VOCALS AND DRUMS SET AND THE S&M ANTICHRISTIAN SHOW THAT SADOLUST PERFORMS ONSTAGE.

         Sascha Müller

Sascha Müller aka Pharmacom start his career with djìng and producing.in 1990. He was inspired by Projects like Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and stuff like Sven Väth played in his dj sets. The musical style reaches from ambient chill out house and techno music in his own special way. His way of producing is the use old analog equipment in the same way as the newest Software in digital producing. The greatest thing for him is to create new soundcollagen and wicked samples for his tracks. As a Dj he played in several european locations and events like love parade and thunderdome. At the moment he is also playing as a vj and is involved in multimedia productions with some other global video and grafic artists.

Schuriken

The Irish Brigades Project has been created by Schuriken the lead guitarist of Sadolust and Lasch Vamme and Cybergoat bands all originated from Athens Greece. The Irish Brigades Project is a personal musical and visual project so far as the cover artwork is concerned which begun in the late year of 2007 and is a one man's project. So far a single release of one LP has been available to the public's ears through various sites on the Internet and a part of DIY net label and currently been supported and re-released with all the bonus tracks by Amduscias Records Net Label. The music on this first LP is mainly inspired by horror films like H.P. Lovecraft's Dagon and others like that and puts out the most atmospherical parts of these such as abandoned villages and lost places. Vocals are mainly done by Schuriken and put through heavy distortion and other fx's. The guitar parts are naturally recorded. The concept is to keep the music very filthy and simple at the same time. The new Irish Brigades Project LP will follow during 2007 and is likely to be available during December.

         Seven Days Of Night

These songs are not so much about unrequited love or failure, more like when things conspire against you, so that for whatever reason, you can only be together or be successful vicariously, for example in dreams.  These ‘dreams’ can often then become a driving force, or inspiration.

     Terra Engine

Terra Engine is the experimental electronic side-project of the reclusive John Lithium. Featuring powerful soundscapes and unsettling experimental sequences, this project creates (for lack of a better definition) "power ambience": ambient music which is massive, epic, expansive, and intricate. Inspired by many underground proto-industrial and dark ambient groups (yet also quite unlike many of them). The majority of the sounds created by this group are created using freeware synths/FX processors (usually using unconventional settings/configurations).

History: John Lithium has been creating electronic music, under various pseudonyms, for over eight years. Specializing mainly in dark ambient, he has also created industrial, techno, avant garde, rock, trip-hop, and othert songs in genres of interest. Currently, he creates dark ambient under his own name.

   The Aenigma

The alter ego of C. Allen Dees, who was the vocalist of the underground early 90's thrash metal band 1-800-EVIL. Also, later one half of the now defunct Hollow Earth Theory, an early techno/industrial project, which self produced one album, Aggressive Pulse.

Tired of the mediocore, cookie cut-out music being produced, it was back to what The Aenigma did best. ''Keeping the music name, The Aenigma, I continued with the industrial style noise and alien ambient music I had been making on my own since the late 90's.''

Now, with The Aenigma, and side project, Audio Geist, the timing is right.

''With this music, I want to make you think. I want to take you to other worlds. I want to scare you. I want to assualt your ear drums.''

But, most of all, I hope you enjoy The Snow e.p.! There is much more to come in the future!!!

         Turmoil

Turmoil is a project I started in 1997. The project is based on sound manipulation of field recordings, found sounds and chopped up instrument recordings that are twisted and processed with many effects. It is the manipulation of sound through the use of cruel and unusual punishment. It is intended to be "pure sound as art". Music can be different things to different people but it all starts with PURE SOUND.
To date Turmoil is Tom Maggio And Holly Maggio.

         Uior

I the musical composer from Russia (Moskow) compose music in style hard idm/noise and ritm/ My creativity officially began in September, 2002. But to compose music I wanted with 1997. Before I was gave to compose a pile music - I did{made} compilations from rap/d'n'b/death metall's. (1997 - 2002). The successful release first in my opinion which was not a shame for showing is dated for the autumn 2004. At this time as such tracks as "Symbiosys" and "PP" have been written down. First my official release has left in 2006 (February) - on the Internet label "reamp3". On the mime of that I write music under - AAGSF. (the Internet label GOD REKIDZ) As I accept participation in project MFP (Red Net Label) My big dream is to visit to America, in New York or Texas - Any city. To meet there a decline and a dawn, to walk around streets, to take a breath of American air. While it is not feasible, for I the poor student. As I am produser and the author, not commercial the Internet of compilations - RUSZUD / Aliens vs People / Noise Styles UP0301.

         Weimar

Weimar is a solo project of Radek Kordasiewicz- polish musician, known for such bands as Ollin, Elvatorium and multimedia group MusicWordArt. Improvised sounds, crossing the borders of genres and musical ethics- these are the aims for Weimar's existence. The project was born in the summer 2005 (July/August) with a series of improvised, rapid recordings released later as "Calling" album (strongly limited home made self release).
Weimar was always there, with Radek searching for new ways of expression- from totally horrible noises to ambiences and acoustics. In the meantime, there was a "crash"- greater percent of Radek's recordings done under the name of Weimar have disappeared from his computer due to some hard drive and system complications (they included a legendary sessions with female singer Midia that took place in late autumn, 2005).
In 2007 the project faced its return, due to the rise of Amduscias Records. First full album, "Basement Rock" was released in April, presenting the chosen recordings from "Calling" as well as many new ones. The things are on- there is a series of "Ambiences" EPs planned (many contributors are going to appear there), also a re-release of "Calling" should take place with partly recovered 2005's autumn sessions. More albums, more rapid and strange sounds, lovely and frightening in the same time. That's Weimar. The joke on itself.
